Dr. Darshan Patel provides assessment and treatment for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) & precipitated neuropsychiatric conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), frequently referred to as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Bi-polar, OCD, and neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Patel is one of the nation’s few integrative and functional psychiatrists. His treatment plan looks beyond the presentation of mental illness by assessing genetic, biological, environmental and infectious causes. He uses a combination of complex laboratory tests, neuroimaging, and physical exams to craft a state-of-the-art treatment plan. Dr. Patel often utilizes natural supplementation via infusions and coordinates care with outside providers including; physical therapists, occupational therapists, endocrinologists, and sleep specialists.

Dr. Darshan Patel Collaborates with Renowned TBI Specialist Dr. Mark Gordon to Deliver Life-Changing Results

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) remains a critical health challenge, with 66% of those in need of care never entering the medical system. Even those who do often face inadequate treatment, as traditional approaches rely on outdated diagnostic methods and superficial assessments rather than leveraging advancements in TBI research.

There is a better way to treat TBI, one that can significantly improve patients’ quality of life.

For both military and civilian populations, hormonal imbalances frequently go undiagnosed during rehabilitation for physical trauma. Comprehensive laboratory evaluations are rarely performed, and initial baseline hormone levels are often overlooked. As a result, many TBI patients with one or more hormonal deficiencies endure compounded physical and psychological complications that hinder their recovery.

Left unaddressed, these deficiencies can lead to severe psychological consequences, including depression and an increased risk of suicide.

Dr. Patel’s personalized treatment approach targets both symptoms and underlying conditions, using tailored protocols to promote brain healing and long-term recovery.
